Chris Hooper • Producer/Director

Chris Hooper is a self taught director/editor/new media developer. He has won the B.C. Student Film Festival, has received several video awards and nominations, and gained recognition in the field of fine arts. He began his career in the entertainment business playing music at the age of fifteen in several bands eventually co-founding the popular "The Grapes of Wrath" in 1983. Between the years of 1983-1997 he extensively toured Canada, Europe and the U.S., co-wrote and recorded 3 gold and 2 platinum selling albums, and received recognition from the West Coast Music Awards, Socan Awards, Juno Awards and others. Chris has produced short films since his teens, directed and edited over ten music videos, and is always working on a wide variety of projects in the Video/New Media field. He is an avid surfer, reader and traveller.
